You can verify your bank account through two methods: making a deposit or verifying via Volt.
Making a Deposit: By completing a deposit using the same bank account you plan to use for withdrawals, BTSE can verify your identity and account ownership, ensuring compliance with security standards. There are no additional fees for verification via deposit. Please note that bank account verification is only valid for the same account and payment method used during the verification process.
Verifying via Volt: Volt offers instant bank account verification. Follow the steps provided by Volt; the process may vary depending on your bank. Volt supports most banks in Europe. If your bank is not yet supported, please verify your account by making a deposit instead.
Q: I just deposited fiat assets on my BTSE account. Why can't I withdraw them?
A: In line with the industry's anti-money laundering measures, BTSE has a 48-hour withdrawal holding period put in place immediately after each user's first fiat deposit transaction.
During this period the user will not be able to conduct fiat/crypto withdrawals, and will not be able to use the "send to" function. All withdrawal/send features will be re-enabled after the 48-hour holding period, and after BTSE verifies the source of the funds. Subsequent fiat deposit transactions will not have a holding period.
